If you could choose one of these bad boys what would your choice be? I am going for the Audi RS3 all the way… that is one mean sounding Audi with speed and specs to match!
I am a compact freak and the tech that is going into this field of cars has grown tremendously and the sports compacts are leading the way with big power in a small package.

If it’s power you want in a small package then you have got to read more about the Kia’s new Ceed GT impressive compact performance car.
This is Kia’s new Ceed GT, it steps into the fast-hatch sector, one of the most fiercely contested arenas in the automotive market. Wisely, Kia hasn’t lobbed the fast Ceed directly into the bloodthirsty outright power war: with 150kw to its name, the GT is tepid rather than hot, and accordingly it’s being pitched as a brisk and civil means of covering ground rather than a blistering track day hero.
As you’d expect from Kia, value-for-money is high on the agenda. On the standard GT you get a lot of go-fast addenda for your money. Grippy part-leather Recaro front seats, cool-looking 18in alloys, split twin pipes and wincingly bright icecube DLRs. Inside, there’s a very tactile button-laden steering wheel, lots of GT badging and a set of alloy pedals top the list. The Tech model adds further goodies like Xenon lamps, sat-nav and heated seats. 0-100 7.7 sec | Top speed – 230
What do you think about this little beast?

Renault have come a long way since their first hatch backs. The all new Megane GT has brought Renualt into one of the front runners for the best sports compact cars for 2016
If the RS265 is considered the hardcore hot hatch in Renault’s Australian arsenal, and the regular Megane the lukewarm version, then the new GT220 variant can comfortably be classified as the simmering interpretation.
Fitted with a slightly detuned version of the 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine found in the RS265, the new model produces a formidable 162kW of power (or 220 horsepower as denoted in the name) and 340Nm of torque – figures almost identical to the punchy Volkswagen Golf GTI hot hatch, seen as a prime competitor.
Physically, the GT220 brings to the table a more versatile layout. It comes with four doors instead of the 265’s two, its suspension has been made more compliant for daily driving and the boy racer styling has been toned down.
